About NCAS Bibliographies (Beta)
These NCAS-compiled bibliographies are intended to augment, not duplicate more comprehensive works such as the frequently updated Skeptic's Dictionary (© 1994 through current by Robert T. Carroll). Any overlap of citations here with any other major bibliographies is inadvertent or just for your reading convenience. We are only beginning this compilation. Please check back often for new items. (See Syndicated Content, below.)
NCAS provides these bibliographic items for reference without endorsement.
QUICK START
The best introduction may be to just go to the NCAS Bibliographies page, click on the link All Items by Topic & Type -- and roam at will through the NCAS bibliographic topics and items on Delicious.com.
ALL TOPICS & TYPES MENU
On the All Items by Topic & Type page you will see "Tags" for all topics currently indexed by NCAS, in alphabetical order, as well as several item Type Tags at the bottom of the list.
SELECTING TOPICS OR CATEGORIES
On the All Items by Topic & Type page click any Tag to be taken to a new page (on Delicious.com) showing all the items posted by NCAS about that topic (or of that type). The most recently posted items are listed first.
On the right side of the page is an index of Tags for TOPICS and TYPES.
After clickinging on a Tag, you can Click on a "Related Tag" -- which will will take you to a list of items with both the original Tag and the related Tag.
When you are on Delicious.com you can return to the NCAS website by clicking Site: ncas.org/bibliographies.htm at the top of any page. Or more simply, just bookmark ncas.org in your browser.

BETA:
This NCAS Bibliography section is still under development, as Delicious.com continues to improve its social bookmarking capabilities. We hope you find the NCAS Bibliography nonetheless a useful information resource.
What will not change:
The web link (URL) for each bibliographic item will not change unless the location of that item changes on the web. So, your personal bookmarks on your own computer for each item will not change, unless that page is moved or removed by the author.
What may change:
- The one or more topic or category Tags under which an item is indexed
- The format and content of this page and related pages on ncas.org
- The page format, content and functions on Delicious.com
- Syndicated Content (RSS) links for the topic or category Tags
- This About NCAS Bibliographies help page may not always keep up with changes on www.ncas.org or Delicious.com
- The descriptive text of long items imported from BlinkList.com was truncated including the date of publication. (The date on each Delicious.com item is the date posted.)
- Many items have an extraneous "(p)(f)" in the title which was automatically added to all items during migration from BlinkList.com -- the meaningless "(p)(f)" will be removed as time permits.
- In order for TYPE Tags to be grouped separately from TOPIC Tags, on Delicious and on NCAS.org, the TYPE Tags were prepended with "zz" to force them to the bottom of the TAGs list. A more elegant solution will be sought.
On Aug 19, 2008 TYPE Tags were prepended with "zz" to force them to be listed separately at the bottom of the Tags list. A more elegant solution will be sought.
On July 31, 2008 Yahoo! gave Delicious.com a totally new look -- more features are coming.
On July 11, 2008 the NCAS Bibliographies moved from BlinkList.com to DEL.ICIO.US, a simpler, more powerful, and more reliable social bookmarking service now owned by Yahoo!.
